The magnificent statement piece of the night sky
Its heartbreaking isn’t it
To not even have your own light
And to still shine the brightest in the dark
But to have so much light
And still not be able to touch the earth directly
When its in its darkest moment
Atleast people can feel my warmth
But you can’t even get too close
Both seem to be brighter than the stars
But between every sunset and sunrise,
The moon envies the sun for shining so much brighter
And when the sun rises again
It isn’t sure about the warmth it is radiating
Whether it is love or just pain which is making it burn so much
And yet every night, it lends its light to the moon
And maybe that’s why despite the cold
The night sky is still beautiful.

Made me smile thinking the sun has moments of insecurity!

Its all probably in my head though! I hope the sun doesn’t mind my little fanfiction 😅
